The problem is probably that you haven't set up the sources subdirectory,
which hasn't been in the source db (before) since it isn't properly source,
like the image.  

 

Up til now I have been expecting people to get it from the release binary
zip.  It isn't properly necessary for building the system.  However, since
it is essential to have a bootstrapped sources and image for the system to
run, I have put cached versions of both in the repository.  The sources
directory can't be put in the repository directly as it is a directory tree
with thousands of files, so I have zipped it and named it "sources folder
for bootstrapping(must unpack).zip" to avoid confusion.

I tried building StrongTalk directly from the latest sources in the
Subversion repository, using Visual Studio 2005. It all builds and mostly
runs, too, which is good. One strange thing: the class browser in the built
version doesn't work right - browsing any class brings up a virtually empty
class browser: no super class, no comment, no instance-side or class-side
members. Other things (specifically the HTML browser) seem to work fine. Has
anyone else seen this? I am able to get the class browser to work in the
downloaded 2.0 release, just not the version I built from scratch.
