It even runs quite nicely under wine on AMD-64 Debian Sid. The micro
benchmark ran on my system in 66 milliseconds, and a somewhat similar
C program (I had to make it a bit more complex otherwise the compiler
removed the code entirely) ran in 35 milliseconds. I don't know what
slowdown wine introduced, perhaps not much.

Is there any documentation I can look at explaining how to call C
functions from within strongtalk? Can I load a DLL and call its
functions from within strongtalk?
