I suspected that it was just Wine on the Mac, but as far as I knew no one had actually tried it under Linux or Ubuntu directly; it's nice to know that works too (for those of us who aren't Mackers). Of course real ports are needed, and that is not far off (for the VM at least). What is interesting is that system stability appears to be pretty much independent of these OS emulators (at least on Ubuntu). But VM stability certainly is the main issue.
