Dave,

I've actually been able to run Strongtalk on my mac using Crossover,
which is Wine on the mac. There are some glitches in the GUI (some
events seem to be lossed) but it mostly works.  It isn't as nice as a
true port though. I think you need the ports, but mostly, you need to
stabilize the VM.
