The odd thing is that PUL should equal current release minus stuff we don’t want you to have cuz we think you are going to run with it and not pay us stuff, but what I don’t get is what is so hard about that ? or how air tight does it need to be ?
I remember James Robertson (RIP) voicing issues with the changes to the PUL program that were being contemplated at the time, maybe he understood where that was headed and how contrary to fostering adoption it would be.
The PUL is indeed DEAD, just change it to a subscription model of for example less than 100.00 bucks per year with a cap on revenues before it crosses into the royalty % of revenue current model.
This will seed small biz , single to small shop entrepreneurs.
Drop spending cycles on maintaining a PUL for which its obvious does not have too many cycles anymore dedicated to it.

The PUL is still 8.3, which is about five years old.
Since 8.3 came out, these versions have been released:
8.3.1
8.3.2
9.0.0
9.0.1
9.1.0
9.1.1
So the PUL program is SIX VERSIONS OLD. My understanding of Cincom's support model, is that once 9.2 is released next Spring, the 8.3 series will go out of support. It should be obvious to anyone who is looking at this, that the PUL program is either dead, or close to it. Either way, PUL is not a priority for them any more. "If you want to try VW, you can use this soon to be unsupported version that's five years old. You can't have anything newer than that." Can you imagine ANY software company saying that? Five years is an eternity in the software field.

Customer release or PUL? The latter is still not supporting newer MacOS versions and Cincom did not provide any updates on when a new PUL version will be released. If your's is not PUL, I'd like to ask how it runs on recent Intel Macs in general.
