I'm not sure how that would work; in the Cygwin installation, ml-build
is a #!/bin/sh script, which is simply not executable in DOS. I tried
running it from DOS by invoking it as an argument to bash, but that
didn't work (none of the paths were set up right).

I could try installing the non-Cygwin Windows version of SML/NJ,
although I seem to remember having trouble with ml-build.bat in that
installation as well.

Do you not have a Cygwin machine available to try it out on? This could
be a big obstacle for me if Cygwin isn't supported -- I don't have a
Linux machine available.
