http://argouml.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=6515 ------- Additional comments from [email protected] Fri Jun 10 14:18:33 -0700 2016 ------- Thank You for Your kind advice and than You for Your answer. However, I see 2 issues with the proposed solution. issue_1) My fixes and quirks will be overwritten the next time I re-install a new operating system or even re-install the openSUSE from scratch, not to mention the fact that may be even the system upgrade might overwrite the configuration files in the /etc issue_2) I see ArgoUML as an UML design tools and if the rest of the Java software, including the Eclipse, various JetBrains variants, etc. are capable of downloading their plugin updates without global operating system level tweaks and quirks, then ArgoUML should be made to be more robust. All the web browsers work without such tweaks. Even the wget works without opeating system level, global, tweaks. The proposed soulution is a very nice temporary workaround, something that probably gets things going in the short run, but in the long run, it's an issue at the ArgoUML side and it should be also fixed at the ArgoUML side, not operating system config files. Thank You for the kindhearted advice, thank You for the good wishes and thank You for reading my comment. :-) ------------------------------------------------------ http://argouml.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=448&dsMessageId=3174852 To unsubscribe from this list, e-mail: [[email protected]].
