Agreed, my "solution" is just a work-around until the real fix is ready.
This change is on my "post-install-openSUSE" list...


I found quite some documentation about this problem with the java call
java.net.InetAddress.getLocalHost(InetAddress)
Apparently, other Linuxes like Redhat seem to have the same problem, and it is
possible to work around it.

Someone can fix this, please?
