Hi All,

I'm working with John to get this fixed. I've had a few postings over on the
ApacheDS mailing list. One of our other developers here, Andrew Hart, has
done a bunch of work with John to instrument PLA to figure out what's going
on. The results of Andrew's testing is documented on the ApacheDS thread
here:

http://www.nabble.com/Help-connecting-phpldapadmin-to-ApacheDS-1.5.1-td23570166.html#a23576413

What's weird is that Apache Directory Studio, another LDAP client, is
reading the attributes just fine and the permissions are working as
expected. The ApacheDS folks think that this may be a PLA issue, but I just
want to check with you guys what you think. Why would this be working in
Apache directory studio and not in PLA?

Any ideas folks have would be appreciated. Please see the link I posted
above -- it contains a detailed description of what we've seen going on in
PLA code via our instrumentation.

Thanks for all and any help.

Cheers,
Chris Mattmann
