Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Bruneel Michaël (mbruneel) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Server:login:attr Initial Comment: At the root I have three branches : 'poeple', 'groups' and 'addressbooks'. I want to authenticate users stored in the 'poeple' branche and I also want that only the 'addressbooks' branche are visibile in PhpLdapAdmin interface (it's just for editing the addressbooks, not all the tree ...). When Server:login:attr is not set (or is 'dn') it's possible to authenticate posixAccount outside Server:server:base with their full DN without any problems. The PhpLdapAdmin interface shows only the base, not all the tree. The problem : if I set Server:login:attr to 'uid' it becomes impossible to authenticate unless I set the base to root ... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Bruneel Michaël (mbruneel) Date: 2009-10-06 19:03 Message: I use version 1.1.0.5-6ubuntu3 with slapd 2.4.15-1ubuntu3 (the last Ubuntu update). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=498546&aid=2873580&group_id=61828 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come build with us!
