So... Aaron added this because he thought it was necessary for
windows/php5. I removed it since it bugs on php4.
Couldn't see the pb because svn diff -r REVISION-NR file doesn't show
repository file if REVISION-NR is your local revision number... instead
use svn diff -rHEAD.
