Things I would like to port to rails:

	-your bc RBAC with a full user management application
	-form utilities and ideas
	-some l8n and il8n ideas and possibly code
	-some of our debugging ideas
	-possibly a more formal filtering + validation framework

I think it's very nice ;) - I think python and ruby are two different 
paths with equal merits.

django is interesting for py: http://www.djangoproject.com/

but it has an ego problem (being second-hat to rails) and I think the 
framework design is not as clean, though I do like their template stuff 
because it looks like smarty, which I like ;)

I think ruby is an excellent language, I'm not convinced that it's any 
better than python, though - but rails _is_ a killer app. I haven't 
seen anything better.

That said, rails is missing some stuff (which is better than it having 
bad implementations) so I'd like to port stuff over.
