The code in the CVS so far consists only of some core components that
can be shared by Boost.Python and luabind. This will likely compile
out of the box on almost any compiler because it contains almost no
template metaprogramming at all.

We don't have a time plan, but IMO "a few weeks" would be an underestimate;
Currently we are just planning things out but even when we start the actual
integration it will take some time.

If you need help with getting luabind to work on IRIX I could perhaps
be of assistance, I am after all interested in getting luabind to work
on as many platforms as possible.

I don't know what is required yet. Please follow up with a more detailed
description on your results with luabind and IRIX.
