Hi ’Steppers,


as you might know from my previous mail on that topic we have our 35th. anniversary on May, the 11th 2026 according to:

On this date in 1991 the term „GnUStep“ was coined for the first time.


The remaining time is short, so what do we want to do? 

- Do we want a celebration banner on our website?
- Do we want the media to report this? Are any media contacts known (I tried to mail the german IT news site „heise.de <http://heise.de/>“ but never got any response).
- Do we want to be in whatever GNU newsletter? Who has contacts here?
- I think while it would have been great to have a anniversary release, I don’t think it is a good idea to rush one now.
- What else?
