Hi, [email protected] via Discussion list for the GNUstep programming environment wrote: > > - Do we want a celebration banner on our website? Sure! I'd replace the current banner with a single big image.. eg with GNUstep logo, cake and 35 candles or somethign similar. TO be honest, I don't follow much media anymore given the bias and relative low quality, so at the same time I'm not up to date which are the best ones to show, especially thinking about our typical audience. > - Do we want to be in whatever GNU newsletter? Who has contacts here? I only know of a "release" letter, but I would not rush for a release on the exact date. > - I think while it would have been great to have a anniversary > release, I don’t think it is a good idea to rush one now. Me neither, short time frame, we are working on great stuff and I'd prefer not to disrupt it. I think base is more or less releasable, but gui is influx and I noticed recently issues. We could still decide to keep all the major stuff in a branch and decide for a release in some months and still call it "anniversary release". It would be nice to release other stuff together... e.g. Addresses, GWorkspace andother things that were touched recently > - What else? - gadgets? - post(s) on our Facebook Group of course Riccardo
