There is one topic we should discuss, even if I won’t make it: We should plan a GNUstep core release for this fall. With all the great changes from Thalion that have been merged in the last month or are currently in the process of being merged, a release is really overdue. But before a release we need a testing period and for that a feature freeze. It would be great if the meeting resulted in a schedule for that. My proposal would be to keep on merging stuff during the rest of August and have a feature freeze in September, with shared release being published at the end of September. I agree with a feature freeze in September, but we need a lot of debugging. I think October is more realistic. There were many many changes and a lot of real-field testing is needed. I feel overwhelmed. Futhermore there are a couple of things I hoped to have fixed for release, but they were delayed. Riccardo
