RE: Is ICU supported on z/OS and z/VM platforms?

Folks,

I am new to ICU. I am confused with the naming of ICU 4C and ICU 2.6.1.

What are ICU 4C and ICU 2.6.1. Is 2.6.1 is a minor release in ICU 4C or
both are different release cycles?

Yes. Please see the Platform Installation Notes on the download page for
the latest ICU release: 
http://oss.software.ibm.com/icu/download/2.6.1/

Note that we are planning to release ICU 2.8 in December.
