o2micro card reader

Hello,

i've a problem using the card reader builtin in a notebook. The reader is
implemented via a pcmcia bridge provided by a o2micro chipset.

Searching the archive of this list i saw a mail from Matthias Eller from (at
least 2005-12-13 23:41) titled "Re: libchipcard und o2micro".

The scenario he describes is exactly the one i have currently. Each card i
tested is displayed as memory card.

Is the issue solved ?
I can't find any reference on this.

I use libchipcard version 2.1.9 on a gentoo linux system (kernel 2.6.17).

Below the outputs of "chipcardd2 -f --logtype console --loglevel info".
Attached you find 2 files. kvkcard.log when testing "chipcard-tool atr" with
a German mediacl card. rsacard.log uses a VR NetWorld card (definitely a RSA
card).

The file chipcardd2.conf is the server config file in use.

Any idea what went wrong ?

regards
   Petric

  # Drivers
  #
  # A driver section contains information about a driver and the readers
  # supported by this driver.
  #
  # Please note that you only need driver sections for serial readers (i.e.
  # readers which are connected to COM1-COMx). USB readers are autodetected.
  #
  # If you have an USB reader which is not recognized by Libchipcard you
  # really should drop an email to [email protected] containing the output
  # of the command "lsusb" and the following extra information:
  # - path and name of the driver
  # - location from where you downloaded the driver
  # - name of the card reader
  # That would allow me to add the driver to the list and hence to support
  # this card reader.
  #
  # However, if autoconfiguration is disabled (either by config file, see
  # above or because libUSB is not available) you need a driver section and
  # reader sections therein for every reader you want to use.
