I am running clockspeed on a Linux box, and also running NTPD on the same box 
with the "Undisciplined Local Clock" beig the only clocksource listed in 
ntp.conf.  This has the effect of publishing the clockspeed time via NTP.  It's 
not perfect (among other things because the 22 leap seconds since the epoch are 
not reflected by the NTP server), but it means I have a single reference clock 
for my entire network that is accurate.
