Hi, Iäm not familiar with libusb on Windows or libusbdotnet or your device.

However, and this is just guess work, you are able to open the device with libusb(dotnet)? So you must have installed one of the drivers that libusb/libusb-win32 uses to access USB devices, right? If you have installed a driver for the device that is not a serial driver (like the libusb drivers are NOT) then you cannot access it as a COM port. You must install the original drivers (I presume the device comes with drivers)...

I can be totally wrong here.
