pcscd support for Class 2 SPE for Cherry SmartBoard xx44

Hi,

I am having issues on getting the pcsc to work with the Cherry SmartBoard xx44 for Class 2 SPE. The smartcard get recognized ok and pin can be entered except it is not using the pin pad for pin verification.
I had a pcsc 1.6.4 originally and it was working. After I updated the pcsc to 1.8.8, the SPE stop working. I went back and rebuild the 1.6.4, and then it is not working either. It only work if I replaced the pcsc back with the original 1.6.4 binaries. Is there a patch or something anyone aware of or does pcsc actually support SPE on Cherry keyboard?
