OpenAL-Soft Debianized Upstream Request

Hey list,

This is directed to the wonderful people behind the OpenAL-Soft
implementation. Maybe this should be posted to openal-dev, but the
server was down today and I couldn't subscribe.

I'd like to request that the OpenAL-Soft git repository available at
git://repo.or.cz/openal-soft.git be debianized. By that, I mean a debian
folder created in the root which allows for quick creation of the latest
packages for any debian based distro, such as Ubuntu.

Without trying to kickup a hornets nest on debating whether distribution
specific material should be placed in upstream, my only argument is that
it is convenient for many, it is out of the way, and the Debian folks
have already done the work of creating it in their downstream repository
(that lags behind a bit of the main repository) here:

git://git.debian.org/git/pkg-games/openal-soft.git

In theory, there shouldn't be much to do other than copy and paste their
debian folder into the actual upstream's.

I am working on a game (https://www.avaneya.com) which is heavily
dependent on the latest work in mainline which may not be available in
some distributions yet and so this is very helpful.
