Thank you Neil for your reply. I agree with you. I'm using a very old DLL
and I can't expect to find support on such an old version.

But v3.7.6 is the most recent version of Scintilla that I can find in a
compiled .DLL. I'm not equipped to compile DLL from C++ source code. And
the recent .DLL that I can find now on Scintilla.org can't be used with the
AutoHotkey (AHK) wrapper I use (developed by Alguimist) because it does not
support the separate Lexilla.

From now on, I have different options:

1) Try to trace the crash issue with v3.7.6 as you kindly suggested.

2) See if Scintilla v4.4.6 (the last DLL combining Scintilla and Lexilla)
produces the same crash issue. It should work with my current AHK wrapper.
Any suggestion on how to find it on the web in a compiled DLL would be
appreciated.

3) Adapt the AHK wrapper to work with the current Scintilla/Lexilla DLL.
AFAIK, this can't be find on the AHK forum or elsewhere.

My preference is for option 3 as it gives a more solid ground for future
development and it would be a nice addition to the AHK toolbox.

But this type of coding is way beyond my expertise level. I can try to
adapt the Alguimist's wrapper but I'll need some guidance from people here
and from the AHK forum. I'll push it as far as I can and publish my code on
a GitHub repository. Maybe developers here will be able to help me, even if
you're not a AHK developer, just by looking at my code and providing advice
or answer to my questions. I'll follow up shortly replying to this thread.

Many thanks,
Jean
