GUA digest authentication

HI,

Does the gua support the digest authentication?
If the answer is yes, then how does it do it?

We try to connect to an alcatel proxy, that uses
digest authentication and we cannot register our
account.(we have username and password for it).
There are alcatel voip phones that works well using
this authorization, but the gua registers itself only
if the user-account set in the proxy does not requires
authentication (ie. password).
I do not understand the problem as I already could
connect to other proxies that require authentication
(password, and username) like pulver or sipphone, but
we have trouble with this alcatel proxy.

Any ide appreciated
