problems regarding logging

Hi

I am a master's student and am doing my final sem project. I am trying
to implement a Presence Server using the Marshal server offered by the
VOCAL system.

My problem is, i am not able to log into the log files. I mean i want
to write some logs of my own in my own modules, but i am not able to
do that.

Can anyone help me out.
