Yes i tried them all, SWT, qt, GTK and wx.net. Wx.Net was the best choice
for me. But why not write a wrapper for wx.NET to have the same propeties,
methods, functions and events  as SWF. Then you can take the same code for
windows, Linux and MAC. Expect of some stuff like the TrayIcon that doesnt
exist under Linux and MAC.

Is the size really a problem? Most people have broadband internet now and
they also need the .NET runtime which is much bigger than your Application.
