Hi Alexander, I built my own "non-special" version of wx-widgets 2.5.2 just because I can't compile it the way described in "wx.NET/Docs/Manual". If I just run configure myself I get everything to run. If I use make wxw then I get a weird message: checking for GTK+ version... checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config checking for GTK+ - version >= 2.0.0... no *** Could not run GTK+ test program, checking why... *** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the *** exact error that occured. This usually means GTK+ is incorrectly installed. configure: error: Please check that gtk-config is in path, the directory where GTK+ libraries are installed (returned by 'gtk-config --libs' command) is in LD_LIBRARY_PATH or equivalent variable and GTK+ is version 1.2.3 or above. make: *** [wxw-config] Error 1 So I don't know what to do :-( I didn't know, that wxWidgets is a special build - maybe this could be stated in Defs.in.template.
