I had the same problem with WxNet after a succesful installation.
Copying the wxnet-run script in the directory with the sample and
using "./wxnet-run <args>" instead of "mono <args>" solved it. It is
probably a LD_LIBRARY_PATH problem like Alexander mentioned (wxnet-run
exports the LD_LIBRARY_PATH with the current path attached).
