I just ran:
$ mono controls.exe

I also installed a new version of mono from a rpm:

rpm -i mono-0.25-1.ximian.4.1.i386.rpm

but it didn't change anything.

Then I tried to use pnet. I installed five packages: (befor that I
deinstalled the mono package)
pnet-compiler-0.4.8-custom.i386.rpm
pnet-interpreter-0.4.8-custom.i386.rpm
pnetlib-0.4.8-custom.noarch.rpm
pnet-tools-0.4.8-custom.i386.rpm
treecc-0.1.8-custom.i386.rpm

but building of wx.NET failed:
bash-2.05a# cd /home/wilhelmp/wx.NET
bash-2.05a# premake -gnu --with-pnet
Generating GNU makefiles:
...wx-c
...wx.NET
bash-2.05a# make
==== Building wx-c ====
make[1]: »../../Bin/./libwx-c.so« ist bereits aktualisiert.
==== Building wx.NET ====
cscc: unrecognized option `-t:library'
cscc: unrecognized option `--debug'
cscc: unrecognized option `-r:System.Drawing'
ib:../../Bin: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [../../Bin/wx.NET.dll] Fehler 1
make: *** [wx.NET] Fehler 2
bash-2.05a#

It seems that premake didn't generate the correct makefiles even if I give
the option --with-pnet...???

Thank you, for your help!
