And yes I ran ldconfig after make install

Where can I find rpm-packages of gtk+2 for redhat 7.x?
On http://www.gtk.org/download/ I can only find the source-packages.

Maybe this could be a Problem: when executing "make install" of gtk+2 I got
the following warnings:

libtool: link: warning: `/usr/local/lib/libatk-1.0.la' seems to be moved
libtool: install: warning: relinking `im-inuktitut.la'
libtool: link: warning: `/usr/local/lib/libpango-1.0.la' seems to be moved
libtool: link: warning: `/usr/local/lib/libpango-1.0.la' seems to be moved
libtool: link: warning: `/usr/local/lib/libatk-1.0.la' seems to be moved
libtool: install: warning: relinking `im-ipa.la'
libtool: link: warning: `/usr/local/lib/libpango-1.0.la' seems to be moved
libtool: link: warning: `/usr/local/lib/libpango-1.0.la' seems to be moved
libtool: link: warning: `/usr/local/lib/libatk-1.0.la' seems to be moved
libtool: install: warning: relinking `im-thai-broken.la'
libtool: link: warning: `/usr/local/lib/libpango-1.0.la' seems to be moved

then I rebuilded pango, but the warnings didn't disappear.

Don't know what I'm making wrong: Everytime I answer to a reply the
mailinglist opens a new thread????
