I know, this is a long term project. And I'm not planing to abandon you guys.

For the patches: I guess that Mike is the only one who has access to them. So 
it is his call to commit them or to distribute the work. 
For the documentation: If Mike tells me what he is expecting and gives me some 
hints to start then I will do it.
