Dear Mozaffari,

If you are on Unix then locate the node in which your job was running, then ssh to that node, if you have the access, then look for the jobid there of something having license in the name of the job, and kill it. That will return the license to the pool. If it is not Unix then I have no idea how to kill it, but you can look it up online.

Regards,
Umair

Subject: [Abaqus] Abaqus license after crashing

I was running a jib in CAE and when I switched to visualization while job was running CAE crashed. I'm using a network license server. Whenever this happens (happens a lot) and I try to open CAE or viewer again to see the results I can't as there is no more license/tokens left. Is there a manual way of returning the license of the crashed CAE session to the server or any other way around. Usually I have to wait an hour or so and this is getting very frustrating. Thanks
