Dear All,

I am using ABAQUS 6.12-1. While simulating a part wall crack (2 mm depth,
100 mm crack length) is a hollow pipe of 3.5 mm thickness, I encounter the
following error while submitting the job:-
" following contour integral objects contains regions that cannot be mapped
into layers of node sets review the relevant regions or the underlying
mesh".

I googled it, but couldn't find any solution.
I have created circular partitions around the crack tip and meshed the tip
with wedge elements (sweep) , and the remaining portion is hexahedral
elements. I am using mid-side node parameter of 0.25, with collapsed
element edges, duplicate nodes.

I am willing to share the .cae file, should anyone is interested.

Please let me know the solution.

Best regards,
Sagar Chandra
