If you want to run Abaqus through MATLAB, check the following app that I have developed especially for this purpose:

I do not know if you have used any stuff from this application, but I think that this software will definitely help you.
Do you force MATLAB to halt its execution progress while Abaqus analysis is running? MATLAB execution must be halted until the fil file is ready; then the latter can be read by MATLAB and the relevant results extracted.

In both the cases analysis are complete. No failure is occuring as the load is very small. What I have noticed further is, the problem is there when the whole process is done by running a matlab code which contains the commands to ''run the input files'', ''extract the data from .fil file" and ''compare them''. But if I run the abaqus input files separately in abaqus (not incorporating any matlab code for the whole process) and then compare the extracted data from the .fil file it is all right. Thank you for the response. Seeking help still.

Is the analysis completed successfully both in your PC and your laptop? If the analysis is terminated for any reason, e.g due to failure of the model or non-convergence, nodal output is written in the fil file till the last successful increment of the analysis. The last nodal output may vary depending on the point to which the analysis has proceeded.
