Dear Maxima list,
I have written a booklet on Tensor Calculus.
The title is:
Tensor Calculus. A gentle Introduction using the tensor packages of Maxima.
The link is: https://lindnerdrwg.github.io/TensorCalculus.pdf
An abstract could be:"This booklet guides you through your first steps into tensor calculus, using numerous examples done with Maxima, specifically featuring the tensor packages itensor and ctensor. Treated are coordinate systems, the metric tensor, Kronecker delta, permutation tensor, contraction, Levi-Civita and Christoffel symbols. The reader benefits in particular from significant contributions by Viktor Toth.„
It would be very nice if this booklet were made available in the document collection on the Maximal homepage.
