Hi,

after reading a lot in the PowerPC Programming Environments Manual to  
understand virtual addressing on PowerPC, I haven't found an answer  
to how VSIDs are determined/calculated on 32bit processors.

So, how do I determine/calculate this 24bit value for each of the 16  
segment registers? Or are the VSIDs fixed on 32bit processors and I  
don't need to do anything?

Can someone give me a pointer or a short explanation?
