The pre-virtualization technique [1] supported by L4Ka::Pistachio can
make use of VMI and hence also paravirt_ops, so yes there are
definitely "plans" to support it.  Whether we'll also have a native L4
paravirt_ops depends on how well we can hook the L4 API into the VMI
paravirt_ops backend.
