[mh] Outgoing email to via Comcast.net

I have scripts on my MH5 setup to send emails on specific events.
For years I have used smpt.Comcast.net as the outgoing email server.
I am using POP3 mail.

Recently, Comcast made TLS encryption mandatory for transfer of the 
account password.

Has anyone successfully made this transition work?

A simple look at the template mh.ini file does not reveal support for 
TLS in net_mail_account setup.

Before I start digging in, Has anyone solved this already?
