[mh] 2413S vs 2413U

My old PLM died.  It was a PowerLinc Serial (Dual-Band) 2413S.  V1.B
 1305.  LED is dark, not talking to anything.

Misterhouse version is 4.2 (Yes, I know it's old. I have been thinking
about upgrading it, but it does what I need it for.) on Windows 10.

New PLM (I always keep a spare for these occasions) is a PowerLinc Serial
(Dual-Band) 2413S.  Revision 2.3 4216.

Question 1: I had to visit each of my end remotes in order to link the new
PLM (per I2CS) via the button. Some of them are tucked away being
shelving/bookcases.  Is there a software way to link the remotes to a new
PLM, either with MH or some other software?

Question 2: I'm ready to buy my next backup model.  If I want to swap to a
USB model (2413U), how do I configure MH?  I understand COM1, I don't know
the equivalent in USB-talk.  What do I put into my mh.private.ini to
replace:
Insteon_PLM_serial_port=COM1
Insteon_PLM_xmit_delay=0.5
I'm running on a PC with Windows 10.
