Re: [mh] What’s better than Insteon?

For my desired use case nothing gives me the flexibility other than some
million dollar Control4 system. 95% of my "automations" are all insteon
native, about 4% are with a RaspberryPI and the last 1% is voice control
via siri/alexa, but if the internet (or the Pi, or both) die, most of the
functionality of my system still works. I havent' seen that in any system
other than a million dollar control4/crestron/etc setup.

I've got all I2CS devices and besides a single PLM that died I've never had
issues with failures in about 6 years.

It's surely not perfect, but in that price bracket and the functionally I
get there isn't another option. YMMV and all that of course.
