[mh] USB over CAT5

I need a recommendation to be able to extend USB over CAT5.

My installation has the computer in one room (finished basement) and the
PowerLinc (currently 2413S) in the next (unfinished basement).  The walls
between them are sealed.  I have a length of CAT5 that I'm currently using
to extend the serial connection from one area to the next and it works well.

I realized I'm going to need something different when it comes time to put
my newly purchased 2413U into service.  I found the following items.

Does anyone have experience with either of these items?  Do you extend your
USB with another device that you can recommend (or not if it doesn't work
well)?  What generation of USB does the 2413U use?
