Looks like Alexa is having cacheing problems again.

I did a rescan last week following changing the name of a device.

Like you I needed to delete all my devices in the app,and only have one 
Echo connected (I have 3).   I also factory reset it, then it rescanned 
and it found all my devices OK. I was able to bring up the other Echos 
without resetting them too.
