So whenever I've had to swap a KPL or PLM out this is the only way I've gotten them to work. This kind of depends on if you're replacing a KPL or adding a new one, but in any case these steps should work: Remove (comment out) references to the KPL in your insteon mht and reload PLM Global->force scan all device link tables PLM Global->delete orphan Links Now add the device back into the mht and reload: Factory reset the KPL (Pull the tab, push and hold until beeping stops), this step seems very important in my testing. (KPL base device)->Link to Interface (which will trigger a scan) PLM Global->Sync all links (KPL base)->sync intradevice links See if that helps.
