Hi John, I don't know the specific answer to the Sonoff devices fitting inside the junction box as I think there are different version/sizes. The only one I have seen did not appear like it would fit in a junction box. With that said, an alternative might be to use the Shelly 1 (https://shopusa.shelly.cloud/shelly-1-ul-wifi-smart-home-automation-1#164) devices. They are smaller and should fit in a junction box with a standard switch. They can be flashed with Tasmota much the same way as the Sonoff devices; and I suspect after flashing, they would be used in MH the same way. -----Original Message----- From: john <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, February 25, 2022 1:42 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [mh] Question on installing Sonoff switches Hello, I know this is not a misterhouse question but maybe someone with Sonoff knowledge can answer it. Are the modules either mounted in the junction box or outside of it? I live in a region that requires residential metal conduit so mounting outside the junction box is not an option. If inside, I can barely fit Insteon switches in my small junction boxes (house built in 1957). Does the Sonoff product plus a standard switch take up less space than an Insteon switch? Thanks, John ________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe from this list, go to: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/misterhouse-users ________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe from this list, go to: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/misterhouse-users
