I thought something was off when smarthome.com, which has always been
associated with INSTEON, didn't have any special sales during Black
Friday last November -- they typically had discounts up to 30% during
Black Friday and other major US holidays, and I would wait for those
when I needed to buy anything INSTEON. But I checked smarthome.com on
Black Friday last November and there was nothing, and I checked my
inbox and there were no promotional emails from them.

I just checked smarthome.com and it is still up, but all INSTEON
products are "out of stock".

I have a small INSTEON deployment in my house. Controlled by
MisterHouse and integrated with Google's ecosystem. I don't know what
I'll replace it with as devices start to fail. I did buy a spare
INSTEON PLM a couple of years ago, and I replaced the capacitors of my
other PLM, which I am using.

I saw this as well. I have a spare PLM that I’ve done the capacitor repair on, so that should give me a bit more time. PLMs are going for 300-600 on ebay right now.
For those looking at an option, I’ve been happy with my razberry z-wave
device and the MH push support. Unfortunately there isn’t scene support
that I know of.
