I find myself overloading objects from external files instead of
extending the A format, so I would welcome a more flexible configuration
approach however I think it raises 2 questions;
* Are there enough of us with the time to work on it?
* If we are going to change should we consider something even more
radical like JSON or even a MySQL database?
