There's a new beta build available on our Web site:

Changes
-------------
1. Removed the extra "." from the end of log file names.

2. Fixed a problem that caused keyboard mnemonics to act as accelerators.

3. Modified the Unix "run_protege" scripts to work better. Thanks go to
Carsten Pohle for contributing most of this work.

4. Uncaught exceptions are now logged.

5. Improved font selection of the default look and feel.

6. Changed the way file encodings are specified in order to be more
reliable. Now UTF-8 is always used unless the system is told otherwise by
specifying the protege.file.encoding Java parameter.

7. Decreased the Protege standard max memory allocation to 100 MB.

8. Modified all of the "pick something" dialogs to close on a double-click.

9. The Metal Look and Feel theme is now the standard "Ocean" if you are
using JDK 1.5.

10. Modified the UglyWidget to include the Java class name for the widget
that failed to load.
