There's a new beta build available on our Web site:

**PLEASE NOTE: This is a candidate build for the 3.1 release. You may want
to try this build out and report any bugs before they become part of an
official release.

Protege core changes
--------------------------------
1. Added PluginUtilities.isOWLAvailable() method to test if the OWL plug-in
has been installed.

2. Fixed some problems with inclusion and file paths.

OWL plug-in changes
--------------------------------
1. Added backwards compatibility fixes so that old PPRJ files can be loaded
and forms converted into the new format.

2. Fixed a bug which removed superclasses during drag and drop of defined
classes.

3. The create button is now disabled if the property has an enumerated
class as range.

4. The conditions widget now catches cyclic inheritance correctly.

5. Major performance improvement when changes are made to defined classes.

6. Widgets are now suppressed if the max cardinality of a property is 0.

7. Invalid names (e.g. starting with digits) are now handled during loading.

8. Finally, the smiling nerd icon has been replaced with a boring green
button in the expression editor.

Prompt plug-in changes
----------------------------------
1. In diff mode for OWL ontologies, if intersection or union classes differ
only in the order of their operands, they are now considered identical.

2. In diff mode for OWL ontologies, changes from primitive to defined and
vice versa are now shown.

3. In diff mode, the text output of the change now uses browser keys
throughout.
