There is a new beta build available on our Web site: http://protege.stanford.edu/download/prerelease/full/ http://protege.stanford.edu/download/prerelease/basic/ Please note that the 3.2 beta series requires JDK 1.5. To make this release runnable on a Mac you need to: 1. Install Mac OS 10.4 2. Download and install the 1.5 version of Java from http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/java2se50release1.html. To launch Protege on the Mac you need to do one of two things: (1) Use the "run_protege.applescript" script in the Protege installation directory. (2) Start the application /Applications/Utilities/Java/J2SE 5.0/Java Preferences, go to the "General Tab", locate "Java Application Runtime Settings", and drag the J2SE 5.0 line so that it is first in the list. Once this change is made you can use the standard Mac Protege application launcher. Changes --------- 1. Fixed RDF export to use the namespace given by the user. 2. Searches in the class hierarchy that have zero matches now cause a dialog to pop up. 3. The database transaction system has been reworked for the multi-user system. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe go to http://protege.stanford.edu/community/subscribe.html
