I'm sorry I don't know.  But I'm pretty sure it's not qconfirm causing
the problems for you.  It doesn't automagically move ids from ok to bad,
and also doesn't change the permissions of the directories.  If so it
would be a bug we didn't discover or fix since the version you use,
which is more than ten month old.
